Tsunami Day

On Friday we went up on the hill. At first we had to line up. Next they brand the tarpaulins up the hill. I first was scared and excited. I thought we were going to be up there for 10 months. When we were sitting down on the tarpaulin we were in the sun and it was hot. Then we went up the hill a little more. When we were up the hill we had heaps of fun. The boys made huts and the girls made huts too. Then they took the bags up.

We were doing writing when a bell rung.  We had to go up a hill . Me and Rebekas' hearts were pounding. First, we had to follow the big kids to a tree. Next, the big kids get our bags, they trashed them. Then we ate our morning tea on the tarpaulin. Next we could colour with Rosie’s pencils. Then Rebeka had to go home. We were sad but we kept to it and we found a tiger picture and it was a tsunami me and Brielle got picked up.

On Friday there was a Tsunami warning. First we had to go up a hill as a class. Next our bags came up by the big kids. Then Mr Pickard’s car came up the hill with the rest of the bags. After that we caught crickets and then the whole school had lunch. Then we had a little play and Finally we went home.
